This course considers the different types of mental ill health and workplace factors that may contribute to it.

It will help all those in the workplace to recognise some of the signs and indicators of mental ill health, and how as an organisation, manager, and colleague you can support others.

This course provides the knowledge to know when and how to refer individuals to others for support and help. Mental Health First Aid is analysed.

We consider society’s attitudes and perceptions of those with mental health disorders, and the impact of mental health issues on others in the workplace.

We look at how everyone in a workplace can contribute to a better mentally healthier working environment, and how you can look after your own mental health.
