This course comprises of three parts. For each part you will undertake a variety of lessons and for some of these you will be asked to submit answers at the end.
To start the qualification, click the link below (Get Started), and you will be taken to your first lesson.
We require you to complete Lesson 1 first. This is quite straightforward as we want you to watch an introduction video about the Level 4 qualification, and then complete the questions and our centre forms which form part of your portfolio.
Once you have completed Lesson 1, we recommend you do Lesson 2 next (Independent Advocacy Standards). Following that you can do the remaining lessons in Part 1 in any order you wish. Just click on that lesson on the navigation bar on the right-hand side of your screen.
You can submit a whole lesson at a time, you don’t need to do them sequentially. The system won’t allow you to submit parts of a lesson, so you will need to attempt all the questions in a section. Most written answers require a minimum of 100 words although for some you may need to write more to cover in enough depth.
Please allow 5 working days for your assessor to complete your assessment, but we do try and reply within a shorter timeframe if commitments allow.
If you have any questions, please contact your assessor who will be pleased to help.
Once you have successfully completed all 3 parts of your qualification, we may submit your work to our internal quality assurer and in some instances also let City & Guilds look at your portfolio. Once that is completed, we can request your certificate from City & Guilds. In most instances you will be provided with an e-certificate which you can print off at home or work.
Please complete the Candidate Details Form (opens in a new window) with your work details and by signing with your mouse where it requires your signature. This confirms the units you are registered to take and your declaration that you will only submit your own work.
When you have finished this task, your assessor will receive notification and grade your work, and where necessary give guidance in order that you may complete it.
