This course will help you be clear about what constitutes abuse and responding appropriately when faced with a safeguarding concern. Learners will gain a better understanding of how to alert and report concerns and the role/responsibilities of those typically involved in the process.

Video presentations and guidance will consider some of the challenges and dilemmas an advocate may face with their suspicions or disclosures of abuse. This course also includes reference to real cases by way of exercises challenging the learner to consider how they would act in those circumstances.
